Eucalyptus Webinar July 15, 16, 17

 1 July 2020

Two experts on Eucalyptus trees will be presenting a transcontinental, 3-day webinar on the world’s commonly grown eucalypts. Dr Matt Ritter, from San Luis Obispo, California, and Dr Dean Nicolle, from Adelaide, will give a comprehensive overview of this fascinating genus of over 800 species.

The course ($US50 registration fee) will meet for 2 hours a day for 3 days and cover all aspects of Eucalyptus biology. Drs Nicolle and Ritter will begin with the basics of Eucalyptus trees and continue to explore in-depth the biology, identification, selection, uses, and management of these versatile trees in the urban forest. Participants will gain experience identifying Eucalyptus species and will be given tools to continue learning after the course. This is critical knowledge for urban forestry, tree selection, and home gardening.
