Water Station Mapping

 15 February 2020

Water Station Mapping using BCNM a collaboration between Treading Lighly, NPWS and BCNM.

As you know our wildlife is doing it pretty tough out there at the moment, and whilst there are many questions around feeding, one thing we know for sure is that these animals need water, and we can help provide that without too much risk.

The other thing we can do is start to collect as much important information as we can to track, monitor where the water stations go, which critters come to visit and how they are responding. This will be crucial data going forward and we are so lucky to have the Nature Mapr app to help us track that info.

What is Nature Mapr and how does it work? Our volunteers can help your group use the Map. Contact us on budawangcoast@gmail.com.

Let’s work together to help restore our wildlife, with the most up to date information we can get.
