Found running all along the upper side of a fallen tree trunk beside the river.

Try not to breath the spores of this species in as has been known to be pathogenic particularly for people who are immune compromised. It is often one of the first species to bee seen on dead wood. That and Trametes versicolor.

Oh, OK! It looks so pretty and of course, we have quite a bit of the Trametes versicolor too. Luckily I am not immune compromised and also, live well away from them. Thanks.

It's just an alert. We have them very near the house and I'm always coming across them as they seem to dry up then rehydrate when there's some moisture around so in one form or another they seem to be permanent residents!. As yet I've had no problems.....
