Author's notes

Growing under Kunzea ambigua. Cap has a slightly slimy feel. I haven't come across them anywhere else, and would be interested to know how widespread they are. They have been appearing in this location for decades, probably longer.

Marg you have one of the many Hygrocybe species. They seem to be coming up in a number of places over the last few weeks. Sorry I can't give you a definitive species name though I suspect it is Hygrocybe coccinea (Scarlet Wax-cap). That slimy feel to the cap (pileus) seems to be fairly typical of this group of fungi. They come in a multitude of colours and are often on the smallish side. You've been able to capture a nice group here along with good characters that help with identification - well done.
