Author's notes
On edge of lagoon between George Bass Drive and 'The Moorings'. The 3rd photo is attempting to show that the tips of the stems really are very sharp, much more so than the similar native Sea Rush (J. kraussii). There's another small population on the south side of the Candlagan Ck bridge too.

A nasty exotic rush that has invaded many estuaries and nearby low-lying areas along the coast.
