What a fabulous looking fungus, I've never seen this one before. Beautifully photographed to capture the characteristics to help identify it. This fungus looks very like Omphalotus nidiformus and was apparently growing where this species was seen in the past, though it wasn't luminous!! Therefore I'm going to place it under 'Pleurotus'. A genus that has similarities to Omphalotus, in fact one that species earlier names was Pleurotus nidiformis. Looking foward to hearing if there are any luminous ones appearing near this one.
