Growing next to Rosedale South beach carpark on the edge of Casuarina glauca forest.

This is the most southerly plant I know about, mostly north of the Nowra area.

Yep, I thought it was well worth recording, though I know of one other occurrence further south on Horse Island in Tuross Lake, where it came up in a garden bed and started making a nuisance of itself. We even got a seedling in our garden at Brogo north of Bega, but I don't think it has persisted. I guess bird dispersed plants come up with occasional outliers, but the weather probably sorts most of them out.

Gardeners hate it due to its large tuber and persistence!
