Regrowth, 5 months post bushfire. Side of rainforest creek.

A stringybark seedling, perhaps Euc. eugenioides because of the fairly narrow leaves, but I can't be sure. Those crinkly leaf margins are typical of the stringybarks, as is a covering of stellate hairs on stems and leaves if you look closely.
