Regrowth 5 months post bush fire. Side of rainforest creek. Could be a wattle?

Yep, certainly a wattle. The younger plants in the top left corner of the photo have juvenile foliage, which is bipinnate, and the older seedling is developing the mature phyllodes, but still with a bit of bipinnate juvenile foliage attached to the tip. Not possible to say which species at this early stage though.
