Note new time. This session will now focus on bushfire recovery.
Libby Hepburn from Atlas of Life in the Coastal Wilderness and NatureMapr network, will be joined by 2 experts in bushfire recovery from Canberra Nature Map, to conduct the workshop on BioBlitzes with a focus on bushfire recovery.
Libby has had a great deal of experience in organising bioblitzes and is a major contributor to Australian Bioblitz Hub and other significant citizen science initiatives.
BCNM is working with Milton Rural Landcare and Shoalhaven Transition towards a program of BioBlitzes during 2020. This involves volunteers working as a team to facilitate community members recording species occurring in a particular location.
If you are interested in learning more about bioblitzes and/or helping us prepare for bioblitzes – large or small, please join in. This workshop is suitable for anyone interested in getting involved, as well as Council and other natural resource managers.
12 Feb 1.00-3.30pm Council Building, Training Room, 14 Deering St Ulladulla. Tea and coffee provided. If you are attending both sessions, bring your lunch.
