Hi Charles and CBrandis. The Orange-streaked Ringlet (Hypocysta irius) doesn't occur this far south, they occur on the north coast of NSW and extend north into Queensland. Also, if you check the markings on the hindwing you'll see the eyespots on the Brown Ringlet (H. metirius) are much smaller in proportion to the Orange-streaked Ringlet (H. irius).
