Author's notes

I photographed B. ensata six months ago - it looks very different, with wider stem/leaves and rounded juvenile leaves.

Looks like Bossiaea ensata, but check key and B. scolopendria.

Betty's sighting of B. scolopendria is a match!

According to the Plantnet key: Ensata: Flowers 6-10 mm long, cladodes (flat green stems) mostly 2-4 mm wide. Scolopendria: Flowers 10-14 mm long, cladodes mostly 4-6 mm wide.

I really must make a note of these subtleties when out in the field. Such interesting differences in Bossiaea. Thanks both.
